Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Go Gym - the all-in-one UK fitness tracker for workouts, food, habits, and weight. Can't find your answer? Join the waitlist and ask us directly.
Is Go Gym a workout tracker or a fitness tracker?
Both. Go Gym is an all-in-one fitness tracker that covers workout planning and logging, food and macro tracking, daily habits, and weight progress, so you do not need separate apps for each part of your routine.
Can I track calories and macros?
Yes. Go Gym includes food logging with barcode scanning, calorie tracking, and macro breakdowns designed to be fast and simple, without the clutter of dedicated diet apps.
Does it work for weight loss and muscle gain?
Yes. Track weekly weigh-ins, spot trends over time, and celebrate milestone targets whether you are cutting, maintaining, or building. Progress reports help you review what is working.
Is Go Gym for beginners?
Absolutely. If you want one place to log workouts, meals, habits, and weight, without learning four different apps, Go Gym is built for you. Start with the basics and grow into advanced tracking.
When is the app launching in the UK?
Go Gym is launching in the UK first. Join the waitlist to get early access and updates as we ship new features to testers.
Is Go Gym free to use?
Yes. The core app is free and nothing is capped, so you can log workouts, food, habits, and weight, and create as many workouts, habits, and routines as you want. Paid plans only add bonus content on top, such as a no-ads tier and PT-approved workout programmes from coaches, with a generous set of those free too. You will never need to pay to track your own training.
What does early access include?
Waitlist members get first access when we launch and direct updates as we build. Joining the waitlist is free and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Can I use Go Gym for a weight-loss football league?
Yes. Go Gym has weigh-in tracking with milestone targets at 5%, 10%, and 15%, plus weekly diet reports that connect your food log to your weigh-in results - so if you play in a weight-loss football league such as MAN v FAT, your league weigh-ins and everyday progress stay in one place. Go Gym is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by MAN v FAT.
Is my data private, and can I export it?
Your data is yours. Go Gym does not paywall access to your own logs, and you can export your food, weight, and workout history. We are a UK-first app and handle your data in line with UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on what we store and why.
Which devices and platforms does Go Gym work on?
Go Gym works on the web and on mobile, so you can log a workout at the gym and review your week on a larger screen at home. Your data syncs across devices, so everything stays in one place no matter where you track it.
Do I have to track everything, or can I start small?
Start as small as you like. Many people begin with just weigh-ins and workouts, then add food logging and a couple of daily habits once the routine feels automatic. Because workouts, food, habits, and weight all live in one app, you can layer in more tracking whenever you are ready without switching tools.
