Habit tracker
Go Gym is a fitness habit tracker for the daily things that decide whether training works: sleep, hydration, steps, recovery and the small routines you keep meaning to hold. Check in each day, build streaks, and keep your habits in the same app as your workouts, food and weight. Built in the UK and free to use.
What it does
You decide which habits matter. Go Gym keeps them in front of you and records the days you show up, so consistency becomes something you can see rather than guess at.
Mark each habit done in a couple of taps. The day's list is the first thing you see, so logging takes seconds and nothing slips.
Every check-in builds a streak. Seeing a run of green days is a simple, honest signal that the routine is holding.
Set a nudge for the time you actually do the habit, whether that is water in the morning or stretching before bed.
The habits behind the results
Most plateaus are not a programming problem. They come from the background habits that quietly slip. Go Gym is built to track those directly, so the basics get the same attention as the sets and reps.
Track an early night or a target bedtime, the foundation most training plans quietly depend on.
Log water through the day so it stops being the thing you forget when sessions get hard.
Keep daily activity ticking over between gym days, not just on them.
Why it lives with everything else
A standalone habit app cannot tell you whether your habits are connected to your training. Go Gym can, because it is one app. When your sleep and hydration habits hold, you can look across the same week and see what happened to your sessions and your weight. That context is the point.
Free, with no paywall
Plenty of habit trackers cap you at a handful of habits, then ask you to pay to add more or to see your own history. Go Gym does not work like that. Create as many habits as you need, keep your full streak history, and use reminders without hitting a limit.
The core app is free and nothing about your own tracking is locked. Paid plans only ever add bonus content on top, such as a no-ads tier and PT-approved workout programmes. If you never pay, you still get a complete habit tracker with nothing held back. Go Gym is launching in the UK first.
Who it is for
How it builds consistency
Consistency is easier when progress is visible. A daily check-in turns a vague intention into a yes or no you can answer in seconds. A streak gives that answer some weight, and a reminder catches the days you would otherwise forget. None of it relies on motivation lasting forever, which is the part most people get wrong.
Over a few weeks the record becomes useful in its own right. You can see which habits hold and which keep breaking, and adjust before a bad run turns into a lost month. Used with a weekly review, it is a simple way to stay honest about the routine without overthinking it.
