Workout tracker
Go Gym is a free workout tracker app built in the UK. Plan your sessions, log sets, reps and weight as you lift, use rest timers between sets, and review your training history to see whether the numbers are moving. It is a proper gym workout log and planner, without the subscription most apps push before you have logged a single set.
Free to join. Launching in the UK first. No spam, ever.
What the workout tracker does
A workout tracker is only useful if it is faster to use than a notes app. Go Gym is built to stay out of your way in the gym and still give you a record worth keeping.
Build a session before you get to the gym. Set up the exercises you want to hit so you walk in with a plan instead of making it up between sets.
Record every set as you go. Reps, weight and the exercise are saved against the session, so your gym workout log fills itself in while you train.
Start a rest timer between sets and keep your pacing honest. No second app, no stopwatch on the side - it lives inside the workout tracker.
Look back at what you lifted last time and see whether the numbers are moving. Your history is the part that tells you if the training is actually working.
Save a session as a template and reuse it next week instead of rebuilding it from scratch. Create as many workouts and routines as you want.
Your workouts sit alongside your food, habits and weight in the same app, so progress is not scattered across four logins.
Not a separate app
Most people end up with a workout app, a food app, a habit app and a progress app, none of which talk to each other. Go Gym puts them in one place with one login. The training you log here sits next to your nutrition, your daily habits and your weight, so a weekly review actually joins the dots.
If you are using a dedicated workout tracker and wondering how Go Gym compares, see our Go Gym vs Hevy breakdown.
If you want to read more on getting this right, we have written up how to track your workouts, and on the consistency side, how to stay consistent with the gym and how to build a gym habit when you are busy.
Free, and free means free
The workout tracker is free and nothing is capped. Build and log as much as you want, create as many workouts, templates and routines as you need, and keep your full training history. The parts other apps usually lock down are the parts that stay open here.
Paid plans only ever add bonus content on top, such as a no-ads tier and PT-approved workout programmes from coaches, with a generous set of those free too. If you never pay a penny, you still get a complete workout tracker with nothing stopping you logging your training.
Who it is for
Walk in with a plan, log each set as you finish it, and leave with a record you can actually compare against next week.
Save your routine as a template and repeat it. Progressive overload is easier to see when last week's numbers are right in front of you.
No spreadsheets and no jargon. Build a simple session, log what you did, and let the workout log show you turning up week after week.
The rest of the app
The workout tracker is one of four trackers in Go Gym. They share the same app and the same login.
